Welcome to Razzamataz Rickmansworth.
Razzamataz Theatre Schools was launched in 2000 and achieved national recognition in 2007 after a memorable appearance on BBC’s Dragons’ Den, winning the investment from Duncan Bannatyne.
Razzamataz Rickmansworth was launched in 2011 by professional actors Lisa and Neil Roberts, and is now run by dance teacher Amy Latchman. The school has gone from strength to strength, with classes for ages 4 to 18.
All students spend their morning having a carousel of Dance, Drama & Singing lessons. On a rotating basis our unique curriculum features ‘Pop, Fast and Funky’ classes involving street dance, hip hop and commercial dance styles, pop-singing, physical theatre, film and television styles of acting, as well as ‘Musical Theatre’ classes, looking at the song and dance of that genre and more traditional forms of stagecraft including script work.
We provide wonderful opportunities for our students, through regular master classes from West End stars and industry professionals, local public performances, our Annual Showcase, as well as our Razzamataz Gala performance at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the West End!
Last year we had an amazing time performing in our own parade and evening show at Disney Land Paris! What a fantastic opportunity! This November we are heading to the O2 arena to perform in the Indigo theatre for the Razz Gala performance 2018, exciting!
Razzamataz Rickmansworth uses theatre arts to nurture a child’s confidence and self-esteem, all while making sure they are having fun! We pride ourselves on the family we have created and aim to support parents in growing confident, active and well rounded young people.
Razzamataz is proud to put the welfare of its students at the heart of everything it does and provides affordable part-time performing arts training for children and young people throughout the UK.
Come and join the Razzamataz family to experience performing arts, the Razz way!
